Museum Sage® is a transformative experience that reveals fresh insights into a life or business question through a guided interaction with a work of art.
Participants receive an experience that includes elements of mindfulness, close-looking, brainstorming, and crowd-sourcing. This unlocks how participants see their business or life challenges — and generates creative options that can lead to immediate change.
Your group of up to 20* meets at the Minneapolis Institute of Art in a private room for an introduction to the process. Teams of four are led to a gallery by their Guide (trained leadership and executive coaches).
Each team member connects to their artwork, discusses their question, hears from others in their group, and commits to an action step based on insights they gained. The event concludes with a debrief and a celebratory catered lunch or drinks and appetizers.

What’s my role in our team working well together? How can we solve an issue with our product? How can I be happier in my job? What color should I paint my living room?
After each team member (Sage) chooses a question about their life, they pick a random number on a map to select an artwork.
CHOOSE A PIECE
The Sage walks mindfully through the museum with their group of four, led by the Guide. When they reach their artwork, the Sage answers questions to open up insights into their life or business question. The Sage commits to a small action step that will move them forward. Each group member then gets their turn..
GATHER TO DEBRIEF, CONNECT, AND ENJOY
Enjoy a facilitated debrief and thoughtfully curated food and beverages. Team members can celebrate a win or simply catch up in an atmosphere blending culture, connectivity, and culinary delight into one inspiring experience.
