During a Session

If you’re the Sage, you’ll close your eyes and intuitively choose a work of art to have a dialog with. Your friend who’s guiding you using the free app will encourage close looking and free associating by asking questions that lead to insights into your personal question. Your Guide and other players may offer insights too.

Self Care

Please take care of yourself during and after playing Museum Sage. The process is fun — players often experience delight, laughter, and amazement. But sometimes it brings up more challenging emotions.

If you feel overwhelmed, it may help to try any of the following:

  • Take several slow, deep breaths.

  • Walk around the museum to rest and regroup.

  • Use our journaling questions to help yourself understand your experience afterwards.
