Memorable Celebrations at the Art Museum
Museum Sage® is a transformative experience that reveals fresh insights into a life question through a guided interaction with a work of art. This cultural adventure is designed to foster connection, creativity, and joy.
A Museum Sage event is a unique way to celebrate a milestone birthday, an upcoming wedding, a graduation, or a special family/friend gathering.
Your group of up to 20* meets at the Minneapolis Institute of Art in a private room for an introduction to the process. Groups of four are led to a gallery by their Guide, a trained coach.
Each group member connects to an artwork, discusses their question, hears from others in their group, and commits to a small action step based on insights they gained. The event concludes with an opportunity to share within the large group and celebrate with delicious food and drink.

THINK OF A QUESTION AND CHOOSE AN ARTWORK
What’s the next fun thing I could create? What’s my purpose in life? How could I be more present in each moment?
After each party-goer (Sage) chooses a question about their life, they pick a random number on a map to select an artwork.
RECEIVE AN INSIGHT AND COME UP WITH AN ACTION
The Sage walks mindfully through the museum, led by the Guide. When they reach their artwork, the Sage answers questions to open up insights into their life question. The Sage chooses a small action that will move them toward where a fresh perspective is leading them.

Enjoy facilitated conversation and thoughtfully curated food and beverages. Whether you're raising a toast or simply catching up, the atmosphere blends culture, connectivity, and culinary delight into one unforgettable experience.
